Space Management and Right-of-Way Mastery (SMRM)

Space is one of the most critical safety tools a professional driver has. The Space Management and Right-of-Way Mastery (SMRM) course is designed to train CDL drivers to control the space around their vehicle, maintain safe following distances, and execute precise, compliant maneuvers in real-world traffic conditions.
Through scenario-based training and proven defensive driving strategies, drivers learn how to anticipate traffic flow, manage blind spots, and safely navigate lane changes, merges, and high-density highway environments. The course also emphasizes emotional discipline and professionalism, equipping drivers with techniques to remain calm and in control when faced with aggressive drivers or stressful road situations.
